Sugar Mills: Don’t make small farmers wait says DCO

BAHAWALPUR: District Coordination Officer Naeem Rauf on Tuesday directed administrations of sugar mills to ensure immediate payments to small farmers throughout the district and formulate a plan of action so that they do not have to wait for more than 15 days. He was addressing a meeting at his office. He also directed them to give priority to small farmers while purchasing sugarcane.
