MULTAN: The Nishtar Hospital and Medical College board of management (BoM) has approved free diagnostic tests for tuberculosis and cancer. This was announced on Sunday. The BoM meeting was presided over by its Chairman Jalaluddin Roomi. Principal Dr Sami Akhtar, Medical Superintendent Javed Umar, Prof Ejaz Malik and PML-N Senator Rafique Rajwana were also present. Dr Akhtar said that work on accommodation for patients’ attendants had been completed. The BoM also formed a committee for the purchase of an x-ray machine and video bronchoscope. Roomi directed the hospital administration to ensure punctuality at all hospital facility.
