Camp jail security: Entry without CNICs barred

Entry of all visitors who fail to show their original Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) barred.

LAHORE: In a fresh attempt to ensure security at the Camp jail, the provincial government has barred entry of all visitors who fail to show their original Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) at the entrance of the jail. Superintendent of the jail Ejaz Asghar informed that defective metal detectors, screening machines and close circuit televisions had been replaced with new ones to check any unauthorised entry, contraband items.
