The second postmortem of the two innocent lynched brothers Hafiz Mughees and Muneeb Butt will be conducted on September 14 (Tuesday), at Imam Sahib Graveyard Sialkot City under the supervision of a special board comprising senior doctors.

The second postmortem is being conducted on the orders of the Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary, who had expressed dissatisfaction over the first postmortem report, saying that the doctors and Sialkot police had concealed the facts in the postmortem report.

The CJ had ordered the postmortem of the lynched brothers to ascertain the actual causes of their death. The lynched brother’s uncle Muhammad Zarar Butt said that the grieved family has consented to conduct the second autopsy of Mughees and Muneeb.

Senior officials of the Sialkot District Administration said that the graves of the lynched youths Hafiz Mughees and Muneeb Butt in Imam Sahib Graveyard Sialkot would be exhumed under the supervision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan on September 14, 2010 Tuesday, amid tight security and that all necessary legal arrangements have been finalised. Senior police officials told reporters that the Sialkot police have chalked out a foolproof security plan in this regard in a bid to avert any untoward incident.

SA | 13 years ago | Reply Media is NOT AT ALL at its best here!! The second autopsy has been done but there was nothing much on the media; in fact you can find much more on the facebook page what a disappointment. The press conference of the family of the lynched brothers was not just not telecasted, there were no slides either on any of the channels nor a report in any of the papers. Pakistani media was much focussed on Babri Masjid verdict, the NRO crap and stuff that holds no interest of a common man. Mughees and Muneeb have become a victim of not only the mob's barbarity and police's atrocity but also the media's indifference and public's apathy.. May Allah bless their souls and grant them justice. Looks like Allah has to come to earth each time to do justice as our courts are unable of providing it to the masses!!
