Saeed Ajmal to set up cricket academy at UAF

The prime minister have promised to provide Rs100 million for the task, says Ajmal.

The Saeed Ajmal Cricket Academy will be set up at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) at a cost of Rs700 million.


A press conference was held at the site on Thursday. It was attended by Faisalabad Commissioner Syed Tahir Hussain, cricketer Saeed Ajmal and UAF Vice Chancellor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan.

Dr Khan said the UAF had allocated 10 acres of land for the purpose.

Saeed Ajmal said he would leave no stone unturned to raise funds from all eight bazaars in the city. He said he would knock at every door for the purpose.

He said the prime minister had promised to provide Rs100 million for the task.
