UNSC president: ‘Pakistan to help shape anti-terror policy’

He said the theme set by Pakistan during the month was to form a comprehensive policy to counter terrorism.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to United Nations (UN) Masood Khan has said Pakistan would effectively lead the UN Security Council.

Talking to Pakistan Television, he said Pakistan was chosen to lead the UN for the month of January and during this period, “We will play an active role in achieving the targets of international community related to global peace.”

He said the theme set by Pakistan during the month was to form a comprehensive policy to counter terrorism.
