SIALKOT:

Twenty-five of the main accused in the Sialkot lynching case have been arrested while three others, including two policemen, still remain at large, according to reports received by Express 24/7.

Former SHO Rana Ilyas, one of the main accused in the Sialkot lynching case as well as constable Mushtaq have not been presented in court as yet, following their arrest on Friday.

Sources said 25 of the main accused have been arrested, while three others, including three policemen, are still at large.

The joint investigating team constituted by Chief Minister Punjab has reached Sialkot and started its investigations.

The team has so far recorded statements from a number of people and is also monitoring previous investigation reports.

Earlier the Anti-Terrorism Court granted a one week physical remand to the 17 main accused, while former DPO Waqar Chohan and six other policemen are on a one week judicial remand.

Reports say police may present former SHO Rana Ilyas and constable Mushtaq in court on September 6.

Zindadil | 13 years ago | Reply Ramadan started off with the news of these two brothers killed by a bunch of cowards. These cowards who call themselves Muslims are Pakistani and the language they speak is Punjabi. Lets analyze as to why they should not have had done this with the following reasons Muslims do not kill other people (let alone other Muslims) Pakistanis do not kill other Pakistanis (countrymen) Punjabis do not kill other Punjabis (speak the same language) Sialkotians do not kill other Sialkotians (they are from the same place) Muslims do not kill Hafiz e Quran (let alone killing them) Muslims at the time of Ramadan forgive and forget If the above are deeply studied and analyzed. My conclusion is that Pakistan is not a Islamic republic, but a shaitani republic. Thank Allah SWT; my dada declined the offer to move to Pakistan. It is said that if atrocities of these type occur, then Allah brings down the community. Before Allah does something, you all must rise and help establish justice.
