LAHORE:

Object launched its flagship store at Vogue Towers on MM Alam Road in Lahore on Wednesday. Known for its home accessories and truck art inspired medicine cabinets, trays and trinkets, the flagship store is slightly crammed compared to other home accessories stores in the city.

“We have been located in Y Block, DHA, for a couple of years now but I have wanted to strengthen our hold in Lahore,” says Adil Sartaj, CEO of Object. “I am delighted to finally be opening doors at Lahore’s most prestigious shopping destination Vogue Towers.”

The launch of the store at Vogue Towers was also accompanied by a fashion show of Second Skin, the first line of casual and chic clothing designed and launched by Object itself.

“The idea behind the launch of Object in Lahore was to also announce that we have Second Skin in all our flagship stores, ensuring that Object is no longer just a store for home accessories but also a store for chic clothing,” said Adil Sartaj.

Sartaj talked to The Express Tribune about product development and the new truck art line. “While the generic home accessories line has always been doing well, we have decided to branch out into lacquered truck art theme accessories.” This range includes pencil cases, benches, small decoration pieces and other novelty items. While the line is eccentric and funky, the fabric needs improvement and leaves room for improvement.

“Object is a store which has a little something for everyone,” said Sartaj, adding that the idea behind the store was to provide a shopping cart of options for all customers.
