KARACHI: Striker Himmat Khan starred for Afghan FC Chaman as his brace helped his side register a convincing 3-1 win over HBL in their Pakistan Premier Football League match at the Peoples Stadium yesterday.
Afghan FC conceded a goal in the 13th minute but soon found the net for the equaliser on the 30-minute mark through Himmat. Abdul Samad Khan then put Afghan FC ahead on the hour-mark while Himmat scored his second seven minutes from time to seal maximum points for his side.
Meanwhile, in the other match of the day, NBP and Navy played out a stalemate. NBP were awarded a walkover against NBP on Monday in the first-leg after the latter failed to turn up, citing security concerns in the city.
