Blasphemy-accused girl: US finds case 'deeply disturbing'
According to a transcript of the press briefing, State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland said that they are calling on the Pakistani government to have the investigation into the matter in a transparent way.
In response to a question, Nuland said that they welcomed President Zardari's statement on the matter as well as the directive to the Interior Ministry to look into the case.
"We urge the government of Pakistan to protect not just its religious minority citizens, but also women and girls."
When asked about the blasphemy law, Nuland did not respond on how the law compared to other such laws.
"But as a general matter, concerns that in this case, what is being touted as an abuse or an intentional act for religious purposes may, in fact, have been something else."

When someone from the outside criticizes corruption in Pakistan, it is an internal issue but when it comes to supporting muslims in burma, Pakistanis were shouting for the UN to intervene and then criticizing everyone for their inaction.

(1) Pakistan in the only country, ever in the history that has for many decades, continually and regularly allows and practices rape of very young girls to convert to Islam. They still continue to do this as at least 25 young girls face this situation every month even today. What a way to follow islam and please Allah. No other country or religion has used rape to convert. (2) Almost all such acts of rapes have happened in cities and populated areas where educated population lives, and not in the tribal or remote areas. (3) Families and neighbors allow such acts within their homes and neighborhood as these young girls are brought to their new muslim homes to the delight of everyone. Crowds celebrate these acts with ceremonial gunfire. Chief justice covers these acts and constitution protects the culprits. Political parties, media, and religious parties knew these were happening for decades and still continue to happen, but with the exception of few like ET they allow and cover these acts. (4) Pakistanis carry this culture with them even when they go to other countries also as we saw in the exposure of the Pakistani group that groomed young girls. Never in the history has countrymen from any country have formed groups to practice such acts. (5) The culture has become so disgusting to the extent that sons put their mothers on sale. Never heard this happen in any other country. (6) According to Pakistans own media talk shows, Pakistan tops the world not only in pornography but also in child rape, Soon, if not already, it shall top the world in incests also.

Reliable sources has added more information in this sensitive matter and says. the medical report confirm that she in medically challenged and was not aware of her action.
She admitted in the police custody that papers were set on fire by her. according to the police she is child. She didn't do anything intentionally,her action must be treated as such.
Her age matter being disputed by quarters concerned who want unrest internally in the country but the fact is that she is really 11 years old.
She in the early hours of incident could not face the questions asked by police Police sources revealed she could not properly answer investigator's questions.
Minor and mentally impaired person is not liable to conviction or sentence.as law says.
