4 militants killed, 2 security personnel injured in Orakzai clash

Security officials claim to have killed 4 militants in retaliation during clash in Dabori, Upper Orakzai Agency.

HANGU: Two security personnel were injured during a clash with militants in the Alikhel area of Dabori, Upper Orakzai Agency on Wednesday. The security officials claim to have killed four militants in retaliation.

The clash took place when the militants opened fire on security personnel who were advancing into the area during an operation.

The injured personnel have been shifted to the Combined Military Hospital, Kohat.

There have been constant clashes between the security forces and the militants in the Dabori area, while the security officials have claimed to have cleared 97% of the area of militants.

In Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Orakzai agency is the second smallest agency after the Bajaur Agency which shares borders with the Kurram and Khyber agencies and is the only agency which doesn’t share its border with Afghanistan.

Security forces have to kill many more to get rid of this menace permanently.
