ISLAMABAD:

Disagreements within the ministry of water and power came to the fore on Monday as Ahmed Mukhtar asserted that he and (National Transmission and Dispatch Company’s managing director) Rasool Khan Mehsud could not hold positions within the same ministry while he remained in charge.

According to media reports, Ahmed Mukhtar had issued orders to suspend Rasool Khan Mehsud after he took over the ministry’s charge. However, Mehsud, as yet, has not vacated his post.

While talking to the media on Monday, Mukhtar alleged that Mehsud is using his influence to retain his position. He also indicated that he will leave the ministry if Mehsud was not removed from office soon.

Mukhtar dismissed any shortage of fuel supplies.

Many of the people know that Rasool Khan Mehsud is Associated with PTI and he is also the prime person in mismanagement of Electricity in Pakistan and he dont want to resolve the crisis as otherwise his party (PTI) will not be able to get the sympathy vote of the public. Ahmed Mukhtar should remove these political Cronies so that Ministries could work properly and Ordinary people could have a respite as well.

I don’t like PPP or this government, but I think Ahmed Mukhtar is an honorable person who can deliver. He should have been PM

How pathetic n ironic situation where a minister is helpless in front of MD. Please don’t blame other nations if they don’t take anything serious or respect from such a government setup n reputation.
