Five men were accused of raping two sisters and filming the crime scene, the police said here on Wednesday. The victims are deaf-mute, said police and family sources.
Shireen Bibi*, the wife of Zulfiqar* of Sikandarabad village told the police that while she was away from home, Neelam, the daughter of Omar Shah called her two daughters Rida*, 14 and Rukhsana*, 15 to her house.
She later took them to the house of Naseem alias Nathli, who allegedly runs a brothel in the village. Both the women accompanied by Adeel, Yasir, Furqan and Rani took them to an unknown place on a rickshaw.
While quoting her daughters, who communicate in sign language, Shireen said the accused who were joined by two other persons raped the two sisters for two days after sedating them.
The victims also told their mother that the accused filmed the criminal activity on their cell-phones.
The complainant said that the accused threw the semi-conscious, half-stripped sisters on the road on Wednesday morning from where the locals took them home.
The medical reports of the two sisters also reportedly confirmed gang-rape. However, the detailed report is yet to arrive in Peshawar.
The police have registered a criminal case against the eight accused: Neelam, Naseem, Rani, Adeel, Yasir, Furqan and two other persons under sections 365, 376 and 506/34 of the PPC and arrested all of them except two whose identity was yet to be ascertained.
