Cricket: Wins for Great Club, Eleven Stars

Great Club and Eleven Stars secured victories against their respective rivals in the Peshawar District Twenty20 Peace Cricket Tournament being played at the Gymkhana Ground. In the first match, Peshawar Green, electing to bat first, scored 113 for eight with Wakeel Khan making 42. In reply, Great Club chased down the target in 19.1 overs for the loss of just four wickets.


Badshah Hussain hammered a cracking 76. In the other encounter, Eleven Stars beat Usmania by four wickets. Usmania set a target of 111 which was achieved with ease by Eleven Stars for the loss of just three wickets. Zubair Khan was the stand-out performer for Eleven Stars with a knock of 45.
