PPP’s ‘victim cards’

Letter May 23, 2012
PPP doesn't talk about legal cases against them, attempts to substitute that with historical wrongs of judiciary.

LONDON: The PPP’s use of its various ‘victim cards’ betrays contempt for the intelligence of the PPP voter. The party does not talk about the merit of the legal cases against them, but attempts to substitute that issue with the historical wrongs of the judiciary so as to try and discredit the current one. The prime minister says that he is upholding the Constitution, conveniently forgetting that he has been convicted by the Supreme Court, which has been established by that very Constitution. Obviously, he would be upholding the sacred document if he resigned from his post after his conviction on charges of contempt by the Supreme Court.
