Welfare Oriented: Budget sized up for development projects

The focus would be on provision of drinking water and mega projects for road networks.

Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan and Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah co-chaired a high level meeting at the Governor House on Friday to consider the provincial budget for the next fiscal year.


A statement said that the budget would be for the welfare of the people and that the focus would be on provision of drinking water and mega projects for road networks. Provincial ministers Syed Murad Ali Shah, Raza Haroon, Dr Sagheer Ahmed, Syed Sardar Ahmed and other officials attended the meeting.

The officials were informed that the province’s share of money would be allocated for the K-IV project for provision of water and the S-III sewerage project.
