HARIPUR: A girl was killed and two women were wounded when a group of youngsters opened fire in the air in celebration during a wedding ceremony on Saturday. The incident occurred during Abid Mahmood’s wedding in Hasan Bai village, where seven-year-old Hira, Bilqees Arif and Savera Bibi were hit by stray bullets. The three were taken to Women and Children Hospital Haripur, where Hira was pronounced dead, while the two women were referred to Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad for treatment. The police have arrested the groom’s cousin, Zafar Iqbal.
