Uplift: Development projects completed

Tijri and Dawr Jan Khan Korrona communities were facing great hardship in gaining access to potable water.

PESHAWAR: The political administration of Frontier Region Dera Ismail Khan has completed two water supply schemes and constructed a flood protection wall for different communities in the area. Due to water shortage, the Tijri and Dawr Jan Khan Korrona communities were facing great hardship in gaining access to potable water. Acting on their request, the administration set up two drinking water supply systems and installed tube wells, pump houses and water tanks to facilitate the communities. Additionally, the administration also constructed a flood protection wall for the Hareek Wam community to protect their land from seasonal floods. The locals have hailed the efforts of the administration for fulfilling their demands and expressed gratitude for involving them in the projects’ planning and implementation.
