KARACHI: This is with reference to Zarrar Khuhro’s article “Heads we win, tails you lose” (April 27). I agree with the writer’s contention that the Supreme Court’s conviction of the prime minister was the best thing that could have happened to the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
The narrative of victimhood that the PPP has propagated now has a new star. The PPP will use this to the fullest and attempt to gain sympathy votes from all around the country. Our public consists of a lot of gullible people who cannot understand these tactics.
