Enterprise development: Quail farming ‘to end rural poverty’

SIALKOT: The Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA) Punjab plans to initiate a Quail Farming project to help generate employment opportunities and reduce poverty among women in rural areas. A statement issued on Monday said quail farming was ideal for countries like Pakistan as it did not require huge startup investments in infrastructure.
