QUETTA: Yet another man belonging to the Hazara community was shot and injured in Quetta on Sunday in what appeared to be a case of attempted sectarian target killing. According to police, the victim, identified as Sajjad Ali, was on his way home when assailants on motorcycle opened fire at him. He sustained injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Despite the strict security measures adopted by the government, including the deployment of 19 platoons of Frontier Corps police, Balochistan Levies personnel and other law enforcement agencies, the sectarian attacks continue unabated. Two Hazara men were killed on Saturday while about 20 were killed in recent weeks in different incidents of targeted killings. OUR CORRESPONDENT
