A woman’s torso was found from an empty plot behind Capri Cinema, said police on Tuesday.
Nabi Bux police said that the torso belonged to the same woman whose legs and abdomen were found from a garbage dump on Jahangir Road on Monday.
The torso, cut into pieces, was found in a plastic bag. The woman’s head is still missing.
Police have not been able to identify the woman so far, but believe that the case is similar to that of Nasreen, whose body was found last month. Her body was cut into ten pieces, which were scattered across four different places close to the Aga Khan Jamaat Khana in Jamshed Town.
While talking to The Express Tribune, Civil Hospital Karachi medico legal officer Dr Nisar Shah said that the woman’s body was cut in the same manner that Nasreen’s. “It was the work of an expert, a butcher probably.”
