LAHORE:

Also, on Friday Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif kept half a promise by inaugurating one side of the Muslim Town flyover.

The chief minister had been warned, when he broke ground, that his March 23 deadline was too ambitious. However, Shahbaz Sharif had insisted. On Friday, he announced a new deadline for the project, April 18.

In his address during a visit to the site, Sharif blamed power outages for the delay. Continuous power outages, he said, had affected the entire country “not just a public welfare project like the Muslim Town flyover”, he said.

He asked the people to resolve to make Pakistan a great country by removing looters and plunderers. Sharif said that the flyover would facilitate the public. He then talked about Punjab government projects including distribution of laptops among students, the metro bus service and scholarships offered by the government. “No Mr 10 Per Cent is involved in the projects,” he said.

Beware PTI trolls will come anytime soon and then will bash Shahbaz here. Afterall the only corrupt party that PTI can see is PMLN while MQM ANP, PPP and PMLQ are scotch free for PTI as obviously blaming PMLN for everything is an order of the day.
