What should the government spend on?

The government needs a reality check in order to get its priorities straightened.

KARACHI: An article in a local newspaper carried a story regarding a plan to purchase an aircraft for the chief minister and the governor.

Why is buying personal aircrafts for the CM and the governor a priority for the government, when it should really be focusing on poverty, inflation, illiteracy, the shoddy state of our educational institutions suffering due to lack of funds, or the severe shortage of transport faciclites.

Perhaps, the government needs a reality check in order to get its priorities straightened. If the CM and the governor don’t have their own personal modes of transport, they’ll most likely still survive, but the same cannot be said of those who are dying of the aforementioned issues.
