KARACHI: The much-awaited Sports Olympiad at Genesis School, Clifton, started with a bang and ended amid huge rejoicing as the Gladiators took the trophy home for the second year running. The Genesis School Olympiad 2012 comprised individual as well as team events. The day began on a lighter note when students of various levels displayed their athletic abilities in a well choreographed PE display followed by well-trained martial artists. From the innocent lemon spoon race to the hilarious sack race to the muscle testing tug of war, it was one exciting event after another where the young boys and girls vied for the victory stand in healthy competition. Gladiators on account of their dominance in both track and field, managed to stay ahead of the green shirted Nobles whereas the Sorcerers in blue came in third.
