LAHORE: A war of allegations of supporting dictators fired up between Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif and PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Sunday.
Hours after Nawaz's statement that his party will welcome the Chaudhry brothers if they apologise for committing the “sin” of backing dictatorship, Shujaat quipped that he [Nawaz] should apologise first for the “same sin” he had committed 15 years back.
He said, “He committed the “same sin” when he took General Ziaul Haq inside the assembly hall – the stronghold of democracy.”
“He [Nawaz] alleges that we worked with non-democratic courts, in fact, he should be apologising before asking us to do so.”

Well! Shujaat's demand is unjustified as Nawaz Sharif has already appologized for backing dictatorship first in 1993 and then through Charter of Democracy with PPP.
Nawaz Sharif has become mature and wise since his return. In western and established democracies , politicians do not act like MAULA JUTT on issues. They make compromises unlike totalitarian societies where violence is the only way to settle issues.
TIT FOR TAT...big lol ;-)
Marvi is a useless politician. First, she kept on staunchly supporting Musharraf, even after all of his previous comrades deserted him. And now she needs PML-N to give her a reserved seat in a silver platter. Can she win PML-N a seat? No. Can she have influence over the youth voters? I doubt it!
all criminals and Mushi was no exception.
@Sehr.Siddiqui: Please get your facts right, the tradition was pioneered by none other than Mr. Liaqat Ali Khan, who in order to avoid elections supported the extra-parliamentary forces i.e. Army and Bureaucracy. Thus leaving us with the curse. Gen. Iskander Mirza and Ghulam Mohammad were the up-holders of same tradition.
Well Well! Mian Sahib where is your politics of ideology and anti-establishment now. Don't you remember you set strong rules about morality. Now just for power politics you all Status-quo are getting together and blaming Imran Khan. This move by Nawaz Sharif has proved to me now that Imran Khan was and is right. By doing so PML-N has proved that they don't want change. Now i'll definitely vote for IK. And by the way folks, don't you think marvi memon resigned from PML-Q and joined PML-N due to her differences with Chaudhrys, staus-quo, passion for change and ideology. But now both PML-Q & PML-N are on the verge of unification just for the lust of power. Where is her ideology & change? She will regret joining PML-N in a few years. Mark my words.
Both are right
@Qe: who supported musharf rule and who supported musharf refferendum?
Both are Fish Of The Same Pond. The rest will be revealed through Mr. Asghar Khan's case only if properly and sincerely taken up our SC for the betterment of the country and the nation.
