Why did you [Maya Khan] wait for so long to say that the people in the said programme were paid actors?
KARACHI: This is with reference to your report of February 27 titled “Despite teary rebuttal, no unconditional apology from Maya Khan” which was based on Kamran Shahid’s interview of her on Express News.
I have a few questions of Ms Khan: 1. Why did you wait for so long to say that the people in the said programme were paid actors? 2. If that is indeed the case, then did your former employers not know of this arrangement? 3. If they did know of this arrangement, what was the point of sacking you? 4. And, is there a way to independently verify from those “actors” whether they were in fact what Ms Khan is claiming?
