QUETTA: President of the Balochistan chapter of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Sardar Sanaullah Zehri has said that Nawaz Sharif was making sincere efforts to address the issues of Balochistan but he was facing obstacles in doing so. Zehri made this claim while addressing a news conference on Saturday. However, he did not say who was creating obstacles for Nawaz. A tribal elder from Kech district, Haji Akbar Askani, along with his tribesmen announced joining the PML-N at the news conference. Nawaz Sharif had recently announced that his party would convene an all-party conference (APC) to find political solutions to the problems faced by Balochistan. But he is yet to announce a date for the proposed conference. Zehri said the Balochistan issue was being highlighted properly in the country and now it was the media’s responsibility to play its role in resolving the issues.
