KARACHI: Striker Ali Shan scored two minutes before full-time to help NBP eke out a 3-3 draw against leaders PIA to stay in contention for the semi-finals of the National Hockey Championship. NBP drew first blood through Mohammad Ateeq but PIA went ahead after goals from Shafqat Rasool and Adnan Anwar. Ateeq then scored his second goal to level the score. Kashif Ali’s 65th-minute strike handed PIA the lead again before Shan snatched a draw for NBP. Meanwhile, Wapda outclassed Army 4-1 and SSGC downed PHF Academy by an identical score-line. Port Qasim overcame HBL 2-1.
