Recital and dance: Cultural beats play at RAC

Scores of amateur singers, musicians and students showcased their skills at a music competition held at the RAC

RAWALPINDI: Scores of amateur singers, musicians and students showcased their skills at a music competition held at the Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) here on Friday.  While speaking on the occasion, RAC Resident Director Waqar Ahmed said that the council would continue the activity, to explore talent music from the region, for which it was utilising all available sources He added that the council was mindful of  promoting fine arts, music, literature and drama. In the finale, a dance troupe from Jhang presented cultural traditional folk dance.
