India said on Tuesday that it is up to Israel and Pakistan to decide the kind of ties they want to have after former military ruler Pervez Musharraf suggested establishing diplomatic ties with the Jewish nation to counter its “pro-India” policy.
“I think it is between Israel and Pakistan to decide what kind of relationship they want to establish, as much as it is between Israel and India to decide what kind of relationship we want to establish,” said Foreign Minister S M Krishna.

@Khan Bhai:
The point you need to see is that Musharraf is advocating ties with Israel, not for better trade or more friends, but to counter Israel’s supposed Pro-India stance – the India-obsession never ends!. This is where India’s opinion comes into the picture, not because we can possibly decide Pak’s relations with other sovereign nations.

Its getting boring and annoying Bharat needs to come off its high potency Pakistan-obsessiveness drug and go on its own way.
We buy weapons, they cry
We sell weapons, they cry
We make relations, they cry
We do trade, they cry

Pakistan needs to develop friendly relations with Israel who is planning to bomb Iran’s nuclear installations in the near future and who knows next in line is…….

India’s exploitation of Israel will be understood as unproductive. Pakistan and Israeli relationship will have a great value in benefitting both countries and world peace and should be embraced due to their brotherly ancient Jewish roots. Both the countries came into existance around the same time too.

What can be basis of such relation ? Pakistan cannot provide anything tradable to Israel. Israel has reservations about Pak nukes, sponsorship of terror and support for Palestine. Can Pakistan compromise on these ? Pakistan may benefit from Israeli defence technology, agri technology, space science etc but what can it give back ?

Today it is the people of Pakistan who are suffering because of its hate policies. It will be good that Pakistan develops friendly ties with Israel and India. It should also stop interfering in Afghan affairs. Use the money that is being wasted on huge army it has to keep for the welfare of the people. Learn to live and let live, the winners will be the people of Pakistan.

i wonder why havent we established the diplomatic ties with israel. Egypt, Jordan and Turkey who are the main parties in Middle East conflict have diplomatic relation with Israel. I think it is time we think beyond misplaced sense of Muslim Ummah and take steps that are good for Pakistan. If we can have diplomatic relations with India why cant we have it with Israel? Whether we like it or not Israel is a reality and it is not going anywhere, therefore its better to have diplomatic ties with Israel rather than no ties at all.

This development will be bad news for Pak-Iran ties !!!
So why all of sudden interest in building ties with Israel??
They really don’t have much to offer to Pakistan ! Where as Iran does. Oil & Gas for starters ! Possible sanctions too for main course !! Desserts, well watch the Saudi displeasure !!
Pakistan simply has too many Masters !

You idiot:
If Israel can pacify Pakistan, it will be her victory as far as palestine is concerned. By doing this, She can sow seeds of division between Iran and Pakistan over Palentine issue.
Pakistan’s response is also important because we are neither fully supporting Iran’s hardline position on Palestine neither we are openly criticizing Saudi led policies over palentine that are generally soft.
Isreal will also be happy to further isolate Iran on her nuclear issue by cutting Pakistan from Iran.

Before we go any further, we wiil need to ask the question as to where on our planet Earth is Israhyeel?
Well folks do we always have to believe in, what we hear from those who believe in and profess the Greco Roman mythology? Do we?
To get down to the facts we will need to go back 2000 years into the history of this land of the Asian people.
2000 years ago this land came into occupation of the Godless Romans. The Asian people suffered discrimination slavery, persecution and all kinds of tyranny at the hands of the European occupying forces then. Today do we see no difference in what was in the history of this land 200 years ago. The situation today has exact parallel to what it was 2000 years ago. Do we see any difference in the attitude and deeds of the European colonists 2000 years ago and today? No none whatsoever.
The undeniable fact is that just like 2000 years ago the indigenous population of this land are the same people who dwelled on this land. 2000 years ago. Some were Jews and some Christians. Today the indigenous population is of Jews, Christians and Muslims.
This land never belonged to the European colonists and just like the European colonists of 2000 years ago these alien European colonists will have to go back. This will happen when the history of this land will start to repeat itself.
So is there any point in recognizing and have any relations with this Roman Out post in Asia?

Who cares about Pakistan. Each of these countries you mentioned has their own thinking and strategy towards each other which is driven by their need to protect their interests and the interest of their people. My 2 cents….Pakistan should start doing the same for itself and its people. None of these countries is inviting Pakistan to fight its battles Recommend
time for a change, we want good relationship with isreal, accept them as a strong and friendly nation, give peace a chance, settle palestinian conflict, and seek thier help in solving our problems.

Its high time WE PAK start dialogue with Israel and initiate formal relations. This is in the best interest of both countries. Israel has never been involved directly in any anti-PAK activities and as for the indirect activities well PAK is not clean either. Both countries play upon the Religious emotionalism and have cashed in past.
Having good relations with Israel will help PAK get influence in USA gov and European countries which will not only help neutralize INDIAN influence by will help greatly in Education health and even military wise.
Because PAK and ISRAEL both are under UNO charter, this UNO charter can be the common starting point for both countries.
PAK public should stop their hate based mindset against every other country just because its Israel. Israel is a a reality as any other country of the world. The issue of Palestine can be resolved if its on table and not by bullets i.e excessive force by Israel army and terrorist activities by Hammas and other muslim groups are stopped.

Muslim Ummah is just a theory of emotional blackmailing in Muslim world. Whenever you cant beat an argument just throw in the Ummah dose. The Arabs treat non-arabs , especially PAK and Bangaliz as their slaves and we act like their slaves too. We dont have anything common with the Arabs except the faith, which is again a personal matter and even the faith is quite different on sectarian basis. Now if anyone talks of not considering this sectarian base, he lives in fools paradise and is not willing to accept a simple GROUND REALITY.
Our culture, our history, our food, dress, social habits, music, dance . . . nothing is common with the Arabs. This Zia ul haq brainwashing of 80z has to be buried if PAK needs to get freedom from Ummah nonsense and start looking for resolution of disputes with more closer friends and common interest partners like China India Afg etcRecommend
