QUETTA:

Three more bullet-riddled bodies were found dumped in Khuzdar district, some 3oo kilometres from the provincial capital. The deceased were identified as Allah Baksh and his two nephews Sanaullah and Bashir Ahmed.

According to the local police, the three, hailing from the Ferozabad area in Khuzdar, were whisked away by armed men from the Ismailabad area about two months ago. “The victims were activists of the Balochistan National Party which is led by Sardar Akhtar Mengal,” said BNP Information Secretary Agha Hassan.

The police were informed by some passersby who spotted the bodies lying in a pool of blood near Zero Point. The bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for autopsy. “The victims were shot in the head and their bodies bore torture marks,” medics said. Chairman of the International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons Nasrullah Baloch claims that 250 bullet-riddled bodies of missing persons have been recovered during the past 15 months.
