Ahmed, who was recently detained under the Maintenance of Public Order, said in the application that on April 7, 2010, the day when his detention was expected to end, Hussain had released the orders for his assassination. Ahmed also alleged that for this purpose, three different teams were constituted.
However, the plot did not work because his incarceration was prolonged.
He also referred to the Joint Investigation Team report of Ajmal Pahari and said that it was prepared by six or seven intelligence and law enforcement agencies and confirmed the MQM’s plan to assassinate him.
Ahmed has plead in his application that an FIR should be lodged against Hussain, Haider Abbas Rizvi, Anees Qaim Khani and other MQM members.
The police have received the application to probe into the matter.

After the first bomb attach on October 18, 2007, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto also wrote the name of some people from who she feared that they might assassinate her.
Finally Benazir Bhutto was assassinated on December 27, 2007 at Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi.
Till date, no one has been arrested from the list which the late Benazir Bhutto provided to the then government of General Musharraf and even after Musharraf’s departure to London.
A similar application has been moved by Mr. Afaq Ahmed. Will any one be arrested if God for bid Mr. Afaq Ahmed will be assassinated?
Life other colleagues of MQM (H), Afaq should also join MQM (A) after getting released and straight go to 90 to meet his former colleagues.
Afaq Bhai if you are really friend of the people of Karachi you must know this is just a scheme you are invited to play into to divide Karachi and to eat it's fruits, sadly most vultures will be Mahajir haters. By the way, I am in no relationship with MQM or any such reference, really. I just could not handle your innocence.

If MQM were into killing people, Afaq would have been dead long ago and we would not have this on our hands.
If Afaq had a bit of sense he would not let himself be used by people over and over again and when those people have no use for him be discarded like he was...
I thought maybe Afaq would learn something spending all that time in jail.. Learn not be used by people anymore but I guess his own ego is too much for even himself
@A.Khan: I hope you make the same advice to Asif Zardari, Gilani, etc. as they are in the same situation and constantly under protection from assassinates. Is there any advice from you for the alleged conspirators of assassination of Afaq? Make it otherwise your silence in this regard will be construed as if you support them (neem raza).

I think he should stay home and take care of his family instead of trying to be a leader. May be find a job.
