16 militants killed in Upper Orakzai operation

Officials said security forces proceeded towards Dabori, Gokamar and Shadala area and targeted six militant hideouts.

PESHAWAR: Security forces launched an operation against militant hideouts and killed 16 militants while 12 sustained injuries in Upper Orakzai Agency of the tribal belt.

Officials said security forces proceeded towards Dabori, Gokamar and Shadala area and targeted six hideouts after which militants started to escape from the area.

Officials added that the operation will be continued until peace is restored in the area.

“We have been chasing militants and continue it until we eliminate them and bring back peace to the once peaceful area,” officials said.

Earlier, security forces captured a Swat Taliban commander Hazrat Bilal and his accomplice from Mardan who had earlier escaped a military offensive in 2009.

Maj..am sure you know more than me,, may be more than every one who commented on the story. we want peace what ever it costs us. we want to live a prosperous life, good relations with our neighbours even beyond our neighborhood. we were living happily, were growing further with each passing day. Why Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was assassinated. Why Shah Faisal?? Why Saddam Hussain?? Dont you know who s behind the killing of all these three mentioned above??? plz, dont pretend to be a child. People were not against the US but the US, has infact done it herself to turn people against her. Answer my one question, Why Mujahidin during the Soviet War are now being portrayed as terrorists...???
