The rally against the drones is due to be staged outside Copthorne Tara Hotel where a two day conference on unmanned aeriel vehicles is scheduled to be held. It is expected that some senior military officials involved with the drone programme, including Major General Stephen D. Schmidt, the commander of Airborne Early and Control Force Command of NATO will be addressing the conference.
The rally has the added impetus over the recent killings of two young boys in a drone strike on October 31. Tariq Khan, 16, and his 12 year old cousin, were killed by a US drone strike. The duo had participated in the Islamabad anti-drone rally only four days previously, meeting with lawyers and volunteering to take pictures showing the impact of drone strikes.

While the Islamabad rally was organised by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, the organiser's of the London protest are not linked to the Pakistani party.

Stop droning our people please..............
If not drones, then it is boots on the ground in PAK. Whose boots is the question.
I remember reading that PAK wanted the same drone technology from US for operation in the same area. Will the drone in PAK hands be any better than US hands in targeting militants and avoiding casualties?
