PESHAWAR: Two people were killed in an explosion on a security vehicle in the Risalpur area of the Nowshera district on Friday.

According to initial reports, a Station House Officer (SHO) Ajmir Shah and his driver Shakeel were killed on the spot when their security vehicle was hit by what eyewitnesses described to be a suicide bomer.
District Police Officer (DSP) of Risalpur Saad Khan said that the attack may have taken place to avenge the capture of Taliban commander Jannut Gul, for which Shah played a vital role.
Four others were injured, including one policeman. There were shifted to the Dictrict Headquarter Hospital.
Eyewitnesses also added that body parts of the alleged bomber were scattered near the vehicle.
Risalpur, a town of around 20,000 people, is home to the Pakistan Air Force Academy, the Military College of Engineering, the Pakistan Army Engineers Centre and the Military Engineering Services School.
Nowshera, a city heavily dominated by military establishments, is just seven kilometres away and has been the target of Taliban militants in recent years.
Earlier this year, in August, at least 11 people were killed and 15 others injured when a remote-controlled bomb ripped through a crowded market in Risalpur.
Risalpur itself, however, had not been targeted before in a fatal attack. The only attack before this was on November 9, 2007, when three rocket-propelled grenades were fired by unidentified militants but landed in places that did not cause any damage to human life.

we admit he was a brave man,i really appreciated him upto the extent of fight against drug dealers and criminals..but people are unaware of second side of the coin..as he joined police department as a constable..he was also not from well off family..how he was an owner of his private Prado landcruiser?how he was account holder of 34 crors?what he did with oil and containers?what about that innocent drivers?he was highly paid unfortuantely..its a dark side of our police people..can any one answer me??

Syed Ajmeer Shah , was a Tiger of Police Force , he done well and he was really really so brave and never afraid of death. The nation can never forget his sacrifices.
His seniors always found him obedient , hardworker, active and brave like tiger. He was a Drill Instructor for many years in Police Institution after that he got best position among his colleagues in the Intermediate College Course, at Police Training College Hangu therefore he was transferred for Law Instructor and after one and half year he was selected for Upper college course and therefore he was promoted to the rank of Sub Inspector.
Today he died in suicide attack on vehicle at Risalpur Nowshera as he was SHO of Risalpur and he lost his life and today his life book closed forever.
We Pakistani Nation pray for his soul and his sacrifices.

Ajmeer Shah was really brave man. He was recently transferred from Akora Khattak to Risalpur. He brought an end to all kinds of crimes in Akora Khattak from drug-dealers & other criminals. He also dealt the influential politicians with iron-hand. He is a martyr and such brave officers are needed in Pakistan police.
