Chain Reaction: LPG prices decline on new policy

New LPG policy forces all LPG producers to reduce LPG prices by Rs11,700 per ton, cut price on cylinders.

The producers of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) reduced its price by Rs12 per kg on Thursday.


According to LPG Distributors Association Chairman Irfan Khokhar, following the new LPG policy of the government, all LPG producers have reduced its price by Rs11,700 per ton and cut Rs140 in the cost of domestic cylinder and Rs540 in commercial cylinder.

Khokhar added that now the LPG price in Karachi has come down to Rs93 per kg while in Lahore, Gujrat, Faisalabad and Sialkot it will cost Rs98 per kg.
