KARACHI: Eleven people were killed in separate shooting incidents as violence in sensitive areas of Karachi continued on Thursday.

Fear gripped the Quaid-e-Azam colony when unidentified people riding a car dumped dead bodies there and fled from the scene.

Residents of the area said they had informed the local police station about the incident but no action was taken.

In an encounter on Nishtar Road, police arrested three accused and recovered weapons from their possession.

Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister chaired a session of PPP ministers and discussed the law and order situation in Karachi.

The ministers decided to launch a campaign in Karachi with the help of the media, NGOs and civil society organisations.

Whole of the Paksitan should be de-weponised. The disease should be cured from the roots instead of seeking for a temporary remedy

Very Well Done, Mr. Chief Minister and other Law Enforcers, well done, keep it up, and keep your meetings going on, let the innocent people killed on the streets, but keep discussing, and wasting peoples money. One day you will be answerable before Allah for what have you done here.
