Balochistan CM sacks cabinet minister

Jaffar George fired on a Punjab govt complaint about his “indecent behaviour” in a Lahore theatre.

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani on Sunday sacked his cabinet minister Jaffar George after receiving a complaint from the Punjab government about his “indecent behaviour” in a Lahore theatre.

Jaffar George, a minister without portfolio in the Balochistan cabinet, belongs to the ruling Pakistan People’s Party. He was arrested along with his two friends for a drunken brawl in a theatre in Lahore.

A case was registered against him in the Qila Gujar Singh police station. The Lahore police produced the trio before a local magistrate on Sunday. The court released them on bail after recording their statements.

George rejected the charges, calling it a conspiracy against him. “I visited the theatre along with my brother-in-law to watch a show. We demanded tickets for the front row but the theatre manager misbehaved with me,” he told The Express Tribune.

Calling it political victimisation, George alleged that the Pakistan Muslim League was conspiring to damage his reputation. “Police and private guards manhandled us in custody,” he said and added that “it was pre-planned.”

Loser! How can he demand seats in the front row? If there were none available, he should get the seats that are available like everyone else.Recommend

Well Done…. If PML (s) and the PPP do the same in their parties, cabinets and with their parliamentarians, soon we will see a positive change in this society.

Start from Zardari, Nawaz Sharif, Maulvis and the bureaucracy.

If no one does it, people will do it, judiciary will do it and army will do it.

We are getting closer and closer to this…..

There will be a logical end to this confusion, chaos, disrespect and misery created by politicians who have no ideology, wisdom, intellect or strength to lead the people of Pakistan.Recommend
