Objections: PTI rejects the commissionerate system

KARACHI: Ashraf Qureshi, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Karachi president, called the commissionerate system in Sindh a “murder of democracy” at the behest of the government. While talking to journalists at the Karachi Press Club on Wednesday, Qureshi asserted, “Our party totally rejects the commissionerate because it makes people slaves to the bureaucracy. The Pakistan People’s Party has killed democracy by bringing this system.”
