Recent spate of violence kills 5 in Karachi

KARACHI: Five people were killed and seven others injured during the recent spate of violence in different areas of Karachi on Friday.

SP New Karachi Qamar-uz-Zaman said that a tussle that took place between rival groups five days ago triggered the clash between the two groups.

The area from New Karachi industrial sector G11 to Godhra was transformed into a battle field. One person was killed and three injured during the clash.

Meanwhile one person was killed and two were injured during a clash in Ancholi area.

Another person was gunned down in Frontier Colony by unidentified gunmen.

Two dead bodies have also been recovered from Qaidabad area.

    Looks like Karachi is once again heading for sectarian violence and it also looks like some banned terrorist outfits are behind this. Why Police/Rangers is not arresting still active members of banned organizations is any body’s guess.Recommend
