QUETTA:

A shutter-down strike is being observed in several areas of Balochistan after bullet-riddled bodies of four Baloch nationalists were found in the province on Wednesday.

The bodies were found in the areas of Turbat, Khuzdar, and Pasni.

The strike is being observed in Pasni, Panjgor, Gwadar, Tubat, Khuzdar, Tump and Mand on the call of the Baloch National Front.

The party has demanded that the government take notice of such killings and incidents of abduction in Balochistan.

Earlier this week, a strike was observed in most parts of Balochistan in protest against the killing of political activist Ghaffar Lango, a day after his body bearing torture marks was found near Gadani, a coastal town with thriving ship-breaking industry.

Lango’s body was found from an abandoned restaurant near the Lakbado area in Gadani on Friday. He was listed as missing from Karachi around two years ago.
