Abbottabad Raid: ANP supports Bin Laden’s killing

ANP supports elimination of Osama bin Laden but has reservation over the procedure adopted for the operation.

PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) President Asfandyar Wali on Saturday said that his party supports elimination of al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden, but has reservation over the procedure adopted for the May 2 US special forces’ operation in Abbottabad. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Asfandyar said, “The ANP is always against all those steps which affects Pakistan’s sovereignty either these are drone attacks, airspace violation or violation of immigration laws.”
