KARACHI: A newspaper’s crime reporter, Zaman Ibrahim, 40, was shot dead on Sheedi Village Road in Lyari on Saturday. Lyari SP Javed Baloch said that Ibrahim was going on his motorcycle when two motorcyclists followed and shot him in the head. His body was sent to Civil hospital. SP Baloch said the victim was affiliated with the now defunct Peoples Amn Committee and was killed in its area. Ibrahim was a resident of Khadda Market area and has two children. He worked for different newspapers for the last five years and the police believe he was killed over an internal party dispute.
