QUETTA: Teachers and students of private schools protested in a rally against the Private Schools Regularity Authority Bill 2015 passed by the Balochistan Assembly on Saturday. The protesters marched on various roads and streets of Dera Murad Jamali carrying banners and placards inscribed with their demands. Speaking to the protestors, the divisional president of Balochistan Private Schools Association, Ibrahim Khosa and General Secretary Amanullah Mengal said the bill passed was a conspiracy against private educational institutions and brought private schools under Balochistan Education Foundation. They alleged that the government wants to keep the standard of private educational institutions below standard and added that the owners and their association will not accept the holding of 5th class examinations under the Balochistan board and the bill passed by the assembly.
