Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

When your ruler Mars moved into the most sensitive and strategic portion of your chart in mid-December, you began a cycle as perplexing as, ultimately, it will be informative. Bizarrely, now that Mars is in Aries, you’ll both note, and be thrilled by, how much you learnt from those complex situations.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

While the recent New Moon influenced every sign to some extent, because it accented your domestic or working life, it triggered certain long overdue changes. Although you’ve been looking forward to these, actually facing them is another matter. Still, once the dust settles and you’re looking back on it all, you’ll be delighted.

Gemini | May 20 – June 20

Often it’s you who’s trying to escape restrictive arrangements. But now, in one particular situation, life will be a lot easier if you can get others to agree to a plan, even if it’s tentative. While, initially, you may need to be heavy-handed, soon others will understand and, in fact, be grateful.

Cancer | June 21 – July 21

In the past you’ve adopted a tactful approach when dealing with certain sensitive individuals, often more out of habit than anything else. However, with so much in transition and some of those changes being unsettling, you’ll have to be far more frank and forthright, even if it causes a bit of upset.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

At first, you didn’t realise certain facts were of significance to others. Now that you have, instead of telling them as much as you can, as swiftly as you’re able to, ask exactly what the individuals in question are interested in knowing. What you learn will both surprise you and streamline discussions.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

Long ago you learnt the risks that come with telling what seem ‘white lies’. While your motivation, to avoid hurting others’ feelings, was good, the outcome was often worse than if you’d been forthright to begin with. It’s the same now. Either be truthful or don’t say a word.

Libra | September 22 – October 22

Initially, when you were discussing potential changes to persistently troublesome situations, you did a lot of listening and said little about your own concerns. These aren’t just significant, others need to know what’s upset you in the past and what you’d like in the future. Don’t make them guess.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

Only days ago you were thinking about whether certain longstanding elements of your life would remain as they are or were vulnerable to shakeups. Yet now, you’re facing exactly that. Tempting as it is to battle these, they’re not only inevitable, once you’ve made them, you’ll realise they were badly needed.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 20

While several signs are stubborn, it’s the rare Sagittarius who’s rigid about plans or ideas. Yet there’s one matter about which your feelings aren’t just strong, you refuse even to discuss the slightest change. The issue isn’t the actual situation but that you’re standing up to the bullying of one particular individual.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 18

Appealing as the idea of a fresh take on persistent practical, business or financial issue seems, doing something about these insights is another matter. Yet with the recent New Moon accenting these, not only are changes timely, you’ll soon realise that there’s no way you can avoid making them.

Aquarius | January 19 – February 17

Ordinarily you’re expert at sidestepping discussions that would involve you justifying your views to others. Yet recently you misjudged what seemed straightforward interest for a desire to win you over to their thinking, ideas or plans. There’s only one way to escape this. It’s to back off, and fast.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

You may not fully recognise the influence of Mars in Pisces until you’re able to take note of, and think about, the changes that have swept through your life, and the commitments you’ve made. While you’ll notice the influence of some immediately, the benefits of others will take ages to surface.
