Pakistan can't compete with Indian reality shows, says Adnan Siddiqui
"I am waiting for my visa. I applied because work remains unfinished. Filmmaking is big business in India. I'm certain Pakistani actors will be permitted to complete their projects," Adnan told The Express Tribune.
Sajal Aly spotted on set of debut Bollywood film
The Ravi Udyawar directorial is expected to be shot primarily in Mumbai. Mom is being produced by iconic Bollywood actor Sridevi, who will also essay the role of Siddiqui's wife in the film. Pakistani actor Sajal Ali will play their daughter.
Mom will also mark the first time Nawazuddin Siddiqui shares screen space with Sridevi. He will make a cameo appearance in the film.
