KARACHI: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Cambridge Commonwealth Trust (CCT) have launched a new scholarship scheme for Pakistani students, who wish to study for PhD.
The Pakistan HEC Cambridge Scholarship, will offer up to five full-cost scholarships per year to PhD students from October 2011 at any college at Cambridge university and in any subject, except those classed as clinical.
The HEC will shortly issue a call for scholarship applications. CCT, founded in 1982 by Cambridge University as a charity, supports students from member states of the Commonwealth who wish to study at Cambridge. CCT and the Cambridge Overseas Trust supported over 15,000 students.
