The national language

Our national language is being ignored and this is ruining the country

TURBAT: Our national language is being ignored and this is ruining the country. If we look at other countries that value their cultures and native languages, we see that they have made great progress as nations. We, on the other hand, are concentrating on English, assigning it more value than Urdu.

If the government changes the textbook into our own language, as China and Japan did, it would be easier for students to understand concepts and succeed academically. It is known to everyone that 90 per cent of students belong to government institutions where textbooks are in Urdu. After schooling, these students join colleges where textbooks are in English. This makes it difficult for students to understand concepts quickly so it would be better to uniformly change all textbooks into Urdu.
