KARACHI: Three flights of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) were diverted from Karachi in the wee hours of Friday.

One of the flights, PK-214, was flying from Dubai to Karachi and was diverted to Muscat, said the PIA's spokesperson. Other flights, including PK-307, which was flying from Lahore to Karachi, and PK-732, which was travelling from Jeddah to Karachi, were diverted to Muscat and Lahore, respectively.

According to PIA's press statement, these flights were diverted due to poor visibility near the airport due to heavy fog. However, the flight operation was resumed later due to improved visibility.
